General Information

                The following information has been developed to allow you to host a successful and elegant event at The Parkway Chateau. This information was created to assist you in making decisions on your theme, guests and on your menu. We hope this information will answer any questions you may have prior to booking your event.
           
           Deposit Required

 To secure the room for a private event a minimum deposit and a signed contract are required. 
Deposit varies according to event and room. 
The deposit is non refundable. The deposit will be applied to the 
balance of your final invoice.  

Room Rentals

The Grand Hall rental fee is $200.00.  The fee for the Bristol Room, Wisconsin Room, Garden Room, Madison Room, or Elephant Bar is $100.00.  These rates only apply when a meal service is provided. Hours for hall rental are 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. or 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. (Midnight). Times are negotiable and are based on a seven-hour time frame. 

Room Size and Banquet Capacity

Saturday Events require a guaranteed minimum headcount listed above to retain this price.
Combination of rooms require a higher headcount.
 

Guest Guarantees  

Saturday rentals  require a guaranteed  minimum head count. Grand Hall guarantee is 200 guests, Bristol Room, 100 guests, and Madison Room is 50 guests. Combination Rooms require a higher headcount. Guest number confirmation is due ten (10) days prior to the event.  Final billing is based on the ten ( 10) day final guaranteed head count.  If attendance exceeds the guarantee, you will be charged accordingly on your final bill. Exact head count of entrees is required for a sit down dinner.   We will make every attempt to accommodate any unexpected guests.  

Payment Schedule

Initial deposit to secure your date/hall is $1000 and is non-refundable.
Another payment of $1000 is due 6 months before the scheduled date of your event.
90 days before your event we require a 50% payment of the balance due on your estimated invoice.
Final payment is due 10 days before your event.
 Payment schedules can vary according to type and date of event.

Service Charges

A 18.5% service fee and a 5.5% state and county tax fee will be added to all food and beverage purchases. 
All prices are subject to change, but are guaranteed 90 days prior to your event.

Bartending Fees

The Parkway Chateau allocates one (1) bartender per one hundred (100) guests.
Additional bartenders are available upon request, within reason, at a rate of $10.00 per hour, per bartender.

Tax Exemption

Organizations with a tax-exempt status must submit a certificate 501(C) 3 certification to The Parkway Chateau no less than two weeks (14 days) prior to the event date.

Menu Selections

Menu selections are required ninety (90) days prior to your event.
Friday and Saturday events  must be hosted with a full menu. 
Hors d'ouevres parties on Friday's or Saturday's are only allowed when meeting certain criteria.
Please see your banquet representative for details.
All catering and beverage service must be provided by the Parkway Chateau. 
We ask that no food or beverages be brought into the building
with the exception of specialty baked goods.
 

Cake Cutting Fee

Our staff will be happy to cut and or serve your cake for 
an additional fee of 25 cents per guest.

Ceremony Set-Up Charge

There is a $1.00 per person set-up/breakdown charge for a ceremony.

Beverage Service

The Parkway Chateau reserves the right to refuse alcoholic beverages
to any person who is under the legal drinking age,
appears intoxicated or cannot supply proper identification.
Underage guests will NOT be served even if parent or legal guardian is present.

Table Arrangements

Tables will be arranged in a manner most suitable for your event.
A floor plan will be discussed and produced at your 10-day meeting.

Entertainment

Entertainment must be completed by 12 a.m. (midnight).  
Entertainment must cooperate with Parkway Chateau management in regards to
volume, content, and times of performance.
Parkway Chateau reserves the right to terminate entertainment upon lack of cooperation.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is permitted in the Garden Room, Elephant Bar, tiled areas, and outside of the building.
Smoking is NOT permitted in the Grand Hall, Bristol Room, or Madison Room.

Decorations

The Parkway Chateau must approve all hall decorations. 
Decorations can be pre set when the hall is not occupied.  
You may decorate with candles as long as they are
on or in something that will protect tablecloths from damage.
Absolutely no confetti or glitter of any sort will be permitted.
There is a minimum fee of $100.00 for any decorations
that are considered unacceptable and need additional clean-up labor.

Security

The Parkway Chateau reserves the right to hire security if needed. 
Security fees will be billed to the client booking the event.
We reserve the right to cancel an event if the nature is questionable.
The Parkway Chateau is not responsible for any lost or stolen articles.

Cancelled Events

If an event is cancelled, all pre-paid monies are non-refundable. 

Miscellaneous  Information 

This is a generalized list. Some info may not pertain to your particular event. 

• Tables are round and covered with white linen.
• Colored napkins are available for a fee.
• Our rooms can be opened to accommodate up to 650 guests.
• The average mixed drink price is $3.50.
• A half-barrel of beer serves 33 pitchers. There are about 5 glasses of beer in a pitcher.
• A pitcher of soda is $4.50 and serves about 5 glasses. 
• Dates tentatively held will be held for one week only.

As a special feature for the Bride, the Parkway Chateau is honored to provide 
a Private Dressing Room just for her.
